4.  Es Cavallet

To the south of the island is the famous Es Cavallet beach, located in the Ses Salines Natural Park.

It is an extensive sandy beach open to the sea with turquoise waters that is worth visiting.

Its popularity is given by being the first official nudist beach in Ibiza and one of the first in Spain.

The most famous cocktail stand of this beach is El Chiringuito, a bar and restaurant at the north end of the beach that attracts a considerable but relaxed crowd in summer and organizes a large opening and closing party to celebrate the season.

Also at the north end of the beach, the exclusive La Escollera restaurant is perfect for enjoying the views while enjoying a delicious meal and making it a very popular wedding venue in Ibiza.

10 minutes by car from the city of Ibiza, take the direction to the airport. When you arrive in San Jorge de Ses Salines take the detour to Las Salinas (Ses Salines) PM-802 and follow the signs to the beach of Es Cavallet.


5.  Cala Bassa

Its blue crystalline waters along with its fine white sand make the beach, without a doubt, a very special place, impossible to forget. It looks like a natural salt water pool!

There is also a snack bar serving pre-prepared but good quality food at reasonable prices situated on the far side of the bay, and a couple of cute little beach bars.


How to get to Cala Bassa?

If you come from San Antonio, 9 km away, you can cross the entire bay to the turnoff of Cala Tarida and Cala Comte. Following this path, find the turnoff to the beach on the right. It is easily accessible and well signposted.

If you want to go from Ibiza, the fastest way is to go to San José and after passing the city you will find the detour to Cala Bassa. There are good parking facilities available.
